Fifty thousand campgrounds, one source of truth.

An automated pipeline that gathers about 50,700 U.S. campgrounds from public sources, removes duplicates, verifies and geocodes each record, and tracks where every fact came from.

Provenance first

Raw source files are stored unchanged and every record keeps track of where each field came from. Duplicates and low-confidence records are flagged rather than silently merged.

Humans in the loop

Review spreadsheets for duplicates and verification round-trip cleanly: people make the judgment calls, and the pipeline applies them after a dry run.

Licensing gate

Restricted sources are skipped by default, and nothing is released until a licensing and terms check passes. The pipeline writes its own data dictionary, quality report and freshness report.
